Description
If you have ever wondered why the cities of Superior, Wisconsin and Duluth, Minnesota are called the “Twin Ports” you won’t after seeing this image. They are only separated by about 6 miles across Lake Superior.
In the foreground is the Wisconsin Point Lighthouse and in the background is the city of Duluth on the hill side. To the left of the Superior Lighthouse is the Duluth Lift Bridge and on the right side of the image the lighthouses at the opening of the Duluth Ship Canal can be seen.
