Description
It's early summer in Northern California and the hibiscus flowers are brightening all over. I was able to take a number of photos of the beauties and had many to choose from. I wanted to create a painterly version so I added a wonderful abstract texture and blended it several times to merge the texture with the photo. The final step was the addition of a canvas texture to increase the sense of a painting.
