Description
The Chateau at Versailles and its gardens were the first place on my itinerary to visit in Paris (and surroundings).
Getting off the metro station at Versailles on that first day, and walking a few small streets towards the Chateau, this is what I was rewarded with!!! To say the least, it was a most enjoyable start for the day.
P.S. Can you spot me in the photo?? LOL

Great capture - I went to Versailles a few weeks ago and I think they have changed the area significantly with changes to the signage so that it is all generic which is really sad - great that you captured this Patisserie if this is one of the ones that was changed LF

Thank you so much Laura for your visit; glad you like this image. I took this image the last time I was there and that was a few years ago - I'm thinking at least 8 to 10 years ago. It's a shame that the area has significantly changed and I don't really know what it's like these days - may be worth another visit. Appreciate you liking the image and adding it to your list of favorites. Many thanks. Hany

Thank you so much Jurgen; glad you like this (I had a bit of trouble with the composition but at the end I think it added a bit of fun to the image). Many thanks, much appreciated. Hany

Being born and raised in the UK, I miss these lovely cafes with the smell of fresh bread and pastries. I bet you had a wonderful start to your day in here :). Lovely capture of ordinary life Hany, and I do see your reflection in the middle of the store!!
Hany J replied:
Good morning Pennie; I know what you mean about how you miss these small cafes and bake shops. The smell of freshly baked breads and the colours of their freshly made pastries are one of my weaknesses. I always want to go in and sample a "few" items... LOL. And I tried hiding myself from that reflective surface in the door, but.... I failed... LOL. Nevertheless, so glad you like this Pennie. My sincere appreciation to all your visits yesterday. Many, many thanks. Hany

Hany, love everything about this shot (and yes, found you in there, too). Places like this are so appealing with all the treats to see and sample :~) F&L
Hany J replied:
Hi Lainie; it is very difficult to miss the only odd part of the scene (who is that guy with he camera?). LOL. Very difficult to get the shot you want sometimes without Little sacrifices like that, and I definitely did not want to spend hours on Photoshop trying to fix it. Besides, some people may call that "artistic liberty"? LOL. Thanks Lainie for your wonderful comment. Hany

Love the mood here Hany ! I just live in order to walk the local neighborhoods (in Asia especially) in search of this type of quaint shot.
Hany J replied:
Thank you so very much Bryan; I love walking the little neighborhoods and photographing the sights there than any other commercial and highly photographed area. So glad you like this scene here. Much appreciate it. Hany

And the best part Jenny, the pastries were out of this world. Many, many thanks for your always supportive feedback and encouraging comments.
